Update: two rounds of fixes shipped Oct 6, 2026

What changed after the audit

The same afternoon, we fixed what could be fixed on our own site, in two rounds. The full audit below is unchanged and stays as the "Before" baseline. Only the on-site categories were re-graded; Rankings, Local and brand, and AI search depend on search results that have not moved yet, so they keep their grades.

C+
→
B
Before C+ → Round 1 B- → Now B
Same method as the original grade: the average of the nine category grades on a 4-point scale (2.30 before, 2.60 after round 1, 2.90 now). Every on-site category is now A- or A, except Tracking (B). The three off-site categories hold the overall grade at B.

Same method as the audit: Lighthouse 12 run locally, default mobile preset (slow 4G) and desktop preset. Reports: home mobile 1, 2, 3, video production, tour, podcast, desktop. One homepage run scored best practices 96. The studio tour page keeps its own tags, so it still scores 79 for best practices and 91 for accessibility.

Fixed

  • Phone speedAd and analytics tags (GA4, Google Ads, Meta pixel) now load on the first scroll or tap, or 3.5 s after load, except on the four lead pages, where they load right away. A smaller phone hero image, below-the-fold images loaded after the page, self-hosted fonts with a matched fallback, and lighter WebP video posters. Trade-off: a visitor who leaves within about 3.5 s without touching the page is no longer counted.
  • The cookie notice no longer jumpsIt is placed once, before the page draws, and never animated. That was the 0.30 layout shift on the video production page.
  • "50M+ views" replaced with a sourced numberThe apply page now says "506K · IG Views, One Client, 2026" and links to the Project Wellbeing case study (506,204 Instagram views on 161 reels, Jan 1 to Oct 5, 2026, from Instagram's own count). "30+ Vegas brands" stays: the site shows 34 client logos.
  • Tour buttons say what they bookThe one "Book a Studio Tour" button that went to the apply page (on /about) now goes to /book-a-studio-tour. The tour page now says "Free 20-minute in-person tour · 4160 S. Durango Dr. #140", and the step that said "Calendly opens" is corrected. Its Instagram link now goes to @gmedia.lv.
  • Galindo Media leftovers on our siteOld footers now read "G Media · Galindo Media LLC", five service pages say "our former name", and the video production FAQ (and its schema) says four studio sets, not five. Address is the same in all 103 places. Schema: 28 bare "G Media" entries now point to the main business entry, and YouTube is added to the social profiles.
  • Dead logo link and housekeepingThe RCG Home Loans logo keeps its place without the dead link. /thank-you-for-the-interest now redirects to the homepage. HSTS is on, Cloudflare email hiding is off (crawlers now see a normal email link), /content-partner is in the sitemap, and footer headings are in order (accessibility 100).

Same method: Lighthouse 12 run locally against the live site, default mobile preset (slow 4G) and desktop preset. Reports: podcast 1, 2, 3; tour 1, 2; home; video production; case study 1, 2; pricing guide; apply; desktop home, video production, podcast, tour, case study. One case study run right after the deploy scored 90 (LCP 3.2 s) while the new stylesheet was not yet cached; the next two scored 99. The apply page loads its ad and analytics tags right away on purpose, so it scores 79 for best practices, and it is set to noindex on purpose, so it scores 66 for SEO.

  • Video on 10 more case studiesEach now has one self-hosted video near the top: the client’s most watched reel we made, as posted on their own Instagram, with its view count and a link to the original post. 720p, under 6 MB, loads only when played, with video schema. Galindo Group Real Estate, Josh Galindo, McMenemy Holmes, NV Landscapes, Project Wellbeing, Rick Sparrow, Veterans Social Club, Reign TC, Bahtana and Jungle Root. ROC 1954 already had video.
  • Apply form: 5 required answers instead of 11Name, email or phone, business or Instagram, what they need, and monthly revenue. Industry, decision maker, timeline and last name are optional. The page no longer says “Takes 30 seconds” or promises a 24-hour turnaround; it says “Five quick questions.” Tested by filling the form with the submission blocked, so no test lead was sent.
  • Main menu on the tour, apply and pricing guide pagesThe same header and phone menu as the rest of the site.
  • Cookie notice: one row on phones62 px tall instead of 121 px. “Opt out” and “OK” stay one tap away, each 44 px tall.
  • Tap targetsThe photo dots on the tour page are now 24 px tap areas (the dot itself still looks the same). Accessibility is 100 on every page tested.
  • Tour and podcast pages under 2.5 s on phonesTour: the hero photo loads first (a 30 KB phone crop), self-hosted fonts instead of Google Fonts, unused CSS removed, and its tags now load on first tap or 3.5 s after load like the other template pages. A tour booking is a tap on the button, which loads the tags first. Podcast: the hero image starts loading first, the studio photos wait until the page has loaded, and 36 KB of unused CSS is gone. Both pages were checked pixel by pixel at 390 and 1440 px after the CSS cleanup.
  • Smaller fixesColor contrast on the case study number badges and the pricing guide footer, and a favicon file so browsers stop logging a missing file.

Re-graded categories (after round 2)

A
Mobile speed (was C+, A- after round 1)Home, video production, podcast studio, studio tour, a case study and the pricing guide all score 96 to 99 on mobile, with the main image at 2.5 s or less. Desktop 98 to 100. Not an A+: there is no real-user data yet, and the apply page (91) keeps its tags loading right away for lead tracking.
A
Mobile layout (was B-, B after round 1)The cookie notice is one 62 px row, the tour photo dots are full tap targets, every page has the main menu, and accessibility is 100 on every page tested. No sideways scrolling.
A-
Technical SEO (was B+, A- after round 1)Round 2 added video schema to 10 case studies and a favicon file. Not an A: http://gmediaco.com still takes two hops (the redirect rule needs a Cloudflare permission we do not have), and old titles linger in search indexes.
A-
Content and proof (was B-, B after round 1)11 of 14 case studies now have a playable video, each with its Instagram view count. Not an A: the Center for Aesthetic Medicine study still has none, and the podcast studio page still shows photos only. The Flores Group and Casa Sunflower studies are website and CRM projects with no video work to show.
A-
Lead capture (was B-, B after round 1)The apply form asks 5 required questions instead of 11 and makes no time promise, and the funnel pages have the main menu. Not an A: the tour booking page still says Google Meet and 30 minutes, and a booked tour fires no conversion.
B
Tracking (unchanged)Same tags, now delayed outside the lead pages (the tour page joined them in round 2). Very short visits are no longer counted; still no TikTok pixel, and booked tours are not tracked. Not raised.
C-
Local and brand (unchanged)Not re-graded: depends on Maps results and outside listings.
D
Rankings (unchanged)Not re-graded: search results have not moved.
D+
AI search (unchanged)Not re-graded: AI answers have not been checked again.

Still open

  • Rankings (D)Still not in the top 20 for 4 of 5 core searches. This needs links, directory profiles and reviews, and takes months.
  • Google MapsStill outside the top 20 for all five searches, with 31 reviews against leaders at 27 to 896.
  • AI searchStill not named in "best in Las Vegas" answers. Needs Clutch, Expertise, GoodFirms and Yelp profiles with reviews.
  • Yelp and MapQuest still use the old nameYelp shows "Galindo Media, 4160 S Durango Rd 120" and two MapQuest listings use suite 120. These are edited on those sites, not ours.
  • Corey's booking page still says Google MeetBoth tour buttons open "30 min with Corey", which says "Google Meet video conference info added after booking", and 30 minutes where the site says 20. Booked tours also fire no conversion.
  • galindo-media.com does not forwardIt is registered at Squarespace Domains, not on our Cloudflare, so the 301 to gmediaco.com has to be set there.
  • Smaller itemshttp://gmediaco.com still takes two hops (needs a Cloudflare permission). The Center for Aesthetic Medicine case study still has no video: their Instagram account is age-restricted, so the reel we made cannot be pulled from it, and the original export is needed.

Fix log: raw/fixes_1006.md. Spot-checked live on October 6, 2026 after the deploy: 506K on the apply page, the /about tour button, the HSTS header, the 301 on /thank-you-for-the-interest, the tour page wording, /content-partner in the sitemap, no email protection link and no "five in-house studios".

Before: original audit, October 6, 2026
This is a self-audit. It is our own website, checked on the same day with the same tools, the same steps and the same grading as our audits of Mackin Media and Galindo Group Real Estate. We audited it from the outside, as a stranger would, and did not use our own Search Console or analytics. No grade was raised because the site is ours.
C+
Overall grade at audit: C+ (now B, see the update)

The site is built well: clean pages, correct labels for search engines, real case studies with sourced numbers, and several easy ways to get in touch. It is not yet doing its main job. New clients searching for a Las Vegas marketing, video, podcast or social media company do not find G Media on Google, in Maps or in AI answers.

Before: original audit
The short version

Top 5 issues

  1. Not found for the searches that bring new clients

G Media did not appear in the top 20 web results for "las vegas marketing agency", "video production las vegas", "podcast studio las vegas" or "social media marketing las vegas". Its best showing was #11 (page two) for "las vegas content agency". Directories (Clutch, Yelp, DesignRush) and competitors such as Levy, FiveSix, In Color Studios, Level 9 Studios and Social Media LV fill those results. The site has 86 pages written for these topics, and they are not ranking yet.

  2. Missing from Google Maps for all five core searches

The Google Business Profile is set up and rated 5.0★, but it did not appear in the top 20 Maps results for any of the five searches, including "podcast studio las vegas", even though G Media runs a four-set studio. It has 31 reviews. The businesses shown first have between 4 and 896, and the video and podcast leaders have 27 to 106.

  3. AI assistants do not name G Media

Asked for the best marketing agency, video production company, podcast studio and social media agency in Las Vegas, an AI-summarized search named 37 different companies across the four answers. G Media was not one of them. The site has the technical pieces AI tools look for (an llms.txt file, business schema, open crawler access), but the answers come from Clutch, Expertise, GoodFirms, Yelp and "best of" lists where G Media has no listing or reviews.

  4. Good on phones, but not fast yet

Lighthouse scores the mobile homepage 79 to 88 across three runs. The main image appears at 3.3 to 4.2 s (Google's "good" line is 2.5 s). The video production page scores 70 because the cookie notice moves the page as fonts load (layout shift 0.30, where 0.25 and up is rated "poor"). Desktop scores 98.

  5. Two names and two addresses across the web

The site says "G Media, 4160 S Durango Dr, Unit 140". Yelp lists "Galindo Media" at "4160 S Durango Rd 120", and two MapQuest listings use suite 120. Search results still show old page titles such as "About Galindo Media" and "Meet the Galindo Media Team", and www.galindo-media.com, which still appears in results, does not load. Mismatched names and addresses weaken the local signals Google uses for Maps.

Also worth fixing

  1. The studio tour button books something else

The studio tour page promises a free 20-minute walk-through in person and says "Calendly opens with available tour times". Every "Book a Tour" and "Book This Studio" button opens a Google Calendar page titled "30 min with Corey", a Google Meet video call. Its Instagram link goes to a personal account, not @gmedia.lv.

  2. A video company with little video in its case studies

13 of the 14 case studies have no video player on the page. They show stills or link out to Instagram. The Center for Aesthetic Medicine study has an empty "The videos" section. The podcast studio and social media management pages have no video either.

  3. One headline claim has no source

The case studies are careful: every number has a date and a source. The apply page headline says "50M+ views we've built" with no source, while the largest sourced view count in a case study is 81,495. A buyer who checks may question the rest.

  4. Forms vary from 3 to 11 required fields

The homepage audit form asks for 3 things. The "full form" on /apply-for-marketing requires 11 (including phone, budget, decision maker and timeline), and /content-partner has a third version with 12 fields. That page is indexable but missing from the sitemap.

  5. Small leftovers

One client logo links to a site that no longer loads (rcghomeloans.com). http://gmediaco.com takes 2 redirects to reach the homepage. The site sends no HSTS header. The email address is hidden behind Cloudflare's email protection, which bots see as a broken link. An old /thank-you-for-the-interest page still listed in search returns 404.

What slows it down

Method: Lighthouse 12, the engine behind PageSpeed Insights. Our PageSpeed Insights API quota was used up on 10/6 (the request returned a quota error), so the same test ran locally with default mobile emulation (slow 4G) and the desktop preset, as in the GGRE audit. The mobile homepage test ran three times; the table shows the first run. Real-user (Chrome UX Report) data was not available. Re-run: pagespeed.web.dev.

Two kinds of pages win these searches: directories and "best of" lists (Clutch, Yelp, DesignRush, Expertise), and competitors whose sites have years of links and reviews behind them. G Media has the right pages (a page per service, per industry and per area, plus 25 blog posts and 7 guides), so the gap is authority: links from other sites, directory listings and reviews. Most of the service pages were rebuilt recently, and new pages usually take months to rank.

Brave Search API, US, top 20 results, October 6, 2026. Google blocks automated queries, so this approximates Google. Positions vary by location and device. Search Console is the source of truth; it was deliberately not used here so the method matches the other two audits.

6 · AI search

Ready for AI, not yet recommended by it

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Copilot were not queried live because they need a login or block automated access. The check used a public web search with an AI-written summary, as in the other two audits.
